In 2001 I got the opportunity to work with the creators of the Close Combat Series, as a junior 3D and GUI artist.  We took our small team working on the real-time strategy (RTS) game, GI Combat and started Freedom Games. Freedom Games was acquired by Dynamic Animation Systems to leverage gaming technology into military simulators for squad tactics. Under Dynamic Animation Systems, we published Squad Assault and Squad Assault: Second Front. Those titles allowed me to grow into Designer and Producer roles. Moving forward most of my game work revolved around the Serious Game initiative, games for training and rehabilitative applications with a gaming narrative overlay.
